Welcome to your Webquest project on American History and Culture.

In this Webquest, you will be focusing on American protest songs from the last century. There are examples from many different genres, from folk and blues to rock and hip-hop.

All of these artists decided to use their musical gifts to take a stand and say something about the times they lived in.

Sometimes what they said was quiet, sometimes it was loud, but they were all saying SOMETHING!
